We were fortunate enough to get an up-close and personal look at the new Sheeran by Lowden S04.
Lowden’s new collaboration with Ed Sheeran has been one of the highlights of NAMM 2019. In this video, we take the Sheeran by Lowden S04 model for a spin, briefly showcasing its tonal qualities and responsiveness.
Despite its player-friendly size, this cutaway model produces a deep voice and a well-balanced tone. It features a fine selection of tonewoods, including five-piece figured walnut back and sides, a Sitka spruce top, a mahogany neck and an ebony fingerboard and bridge.
The guitar’s sterling tones can also be projected via a reliable LR Baggs Element VTC pickup. Completing its appearance are chrome tuners and a stylish soundbox bevel.
