Finnish metal band Children of Bodom have released an animated video for their track Hexed, taken from the album of the same name. You can watch it above.

The video was created by students on the Animation & Interactive Media course at RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia. It was directed by Lucas Cappy & James McIntosh, who also animated on the project, alongside the other students.

The black-and-white horror clip pays tribute to the band’s visual style, with the setting of a lake being a nod to the band’s name. ‘Children of Bodom’ is taken from the Finnish Lake Bodom, the site of a still-unsolved homicide case.

The album Hexed was released earlier this year, and marked the band’s first use of neoclassical elements since 2000’s Follow the Reaper.
