Gojira release triumphant new single Into The Storm

French metal band Gojira have released a new single ahead of the release of their latest album. The new single is entitled Into The Storm, and has arrived alongside an official lyric video.

The track is from the band’s album Fortitude, set to be released on 30 April. It follows singles Another World, Born For One Thing and Amazonia. Amazonia also arrived alongside a fundraising campaign, supporting The Articulation of Indigenous Peoples of Brazil (APIB), an organisation that advocates for the environmental and cultural rights of indigenous tribes in the Amazon. These tribes have long been victims of deforestation, land loss, forced labor, violence, and harassment. Proceeds from the song are also going towards this fundraising initiative.

The band is also hosting an auction of a number of one-of-a-kind items, including a huge number of original paintings, art pieces, posters, and musical instruments donated by the world of metal.

The new song Into The Storm features an uplifting, melodic chorus, an aspect of their musicality they leaned more heavily into for the new record. However, those coming to the record for the band’s signature time-signature-confusing, pummeling riffs will also be catered to as singles like Born For One Thing prove.
