According to the above tweet, the full line-up for the festival will be confirmed soon.
The UK will be the fifth country the festival has expanded to, ever since its beginnings in Iowa, USA back in 2012. It has since also taken place in Japan, Mexico, Columbia and France.
The announcement comes after the release of Slipknot’s We Are Not Your Kind earlier this year, which was met with widespread acclaim, as well as bringing metal to the top of both the US and UK album charts upon its release.
A couple of months before the release of We Are Not Your Kind, the band had a taste of the UK metal festival when they headlined Download Festival 2019.
