Sunn O))) announce more European tour dates
The drone metal legends are hitting the road once more after their second album this year.

SUNN O))) have announced more European tour dates for 2020.
The announcement comes shortly after the release of their last album, Pyroclasts, which was recorded in the same sessions as Life Metal, also released this year. Both were recorded by producer Steve Albini, known for his work on countless underground albums from bands such as Godspeed You! Black Emperor and Slint. The album was recorded at Electrical Audio on two-inch tape. The album cover is by artist Samantha Keeley Smith.
The band are also participating in the Ten Bands One Cause charity, where ten bands reissue their albums on limited edition pink vinyl in aid of Gilda’s Club NYC, an organization that provides community support for those diagnosed with cancer and their caretakers. The list of 2020 dates added to the European tour is as follows:
- 24 January: Orion – Rome, Italy
- 25 January: TPO – Bologna, Italy
- 26 January: Live Club – Trezzo d’Adda, Italy
- 29 January: De Kreun – Kortrijk, Belgium
- 30 January: Kulturfabrik – Esch-Sur-Alzette, Luxembourg
The band will also play three shows at La Gaité Lyrique, Paris, on 31 January, 1 February and 2 February 2020.
