Billy Gibbons (born 1949) is an American guitarist and singer, best known as the frontman of ZZ Top. He began his career with the Moving Sidewalks in 1968. With ZZ Top, key albums include Tres Hombres, Eliminator, and Afterburner. The band is known for its blues rock style and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.
