George Benson (b. 1943) is an acclaimed American jazz fusion guitarist, singer, and songwriter, whose career began in the early 1960s. Known for his smooth blend of jazz, pop, and R&B, he gained fame with albums like Breezin’ and Give Me the Night. A recipient of multiple Grammys, he was honoured as a Jazz Master by the NEA.
