We review a lot of guitars, amps and effects here at Guitar.com – from the most affordable entry level gear to high-value luthier built instruments, but regardless of their price point, some things stand out.

Now, with Black Friday guitar deals finally arriving, we have the opportunity to make serious savings on some of the most inspirational gear around – stuff that combines sound, ease of use, build quality and price in a way that makes it an undeniable choice even at full price.

But you don’t have to pay full price, not this weekend. Check out some serious discounts on some of the most highly rated gear from 2024 and beyond that you can find right now:

Save 12% on the PRS SE Silver Sky

PRS SE Silver Sky

John Mayer’s Silver Sky SE is already one of the most impressive bang for buck electrics out there, which is why we raved about it in our review back in 2022 when it first came out. And this nice discount at Thomann makes it a real steal – especially in lovely Piano Black.

Save $20 on the Walrus Canvas Tuner

Walrus Audio Canvas Tuner plugged in with guitar

The Canvas Tuner – totally excessive or totally radical? How about both – this charming tuner may not be the one you need, but it’s the one you want. What other tuner lets you load up a .jpeg to display in bypass?

Save $220 on Victory’s The Deputy amp

Victory The Deputy, photo by press

This excellent amplifier head is a collaboration between Pete Honore and Victory. While billed as a vintage JTM recreation, Darran found it did just as good a job at an AC30 impression on the cleaner side of things – kicking things up a notch, though, there are still plenty of brilliant overdrive tones to be had. And right now, there’s a hefty $220 slashed off the price over at zZounds!

Save $50 on the UAFX Anti

UAFX Anti

Yes, Cillian may have their long-standing issues with the UAFX app, but a bad digital control experience only detracts so much when the sounds are this good. With an in-built gate and Tube Screamer-style overdrive, this is a modern metal rig in a box – with a very appealing $50 off right now!

Save $150 on the Fender Vintera Bass VI

Do I even need to write anything here with that image to go off? Just look at it – Fiesta Red, the vintage-correct bridge, and a slab rosewood fretboard. For the Bass VI-curious, a Squier may be a better route to go down, but if you’ve been bitten by the 30-inch-scale bug, there are few better guitars out there right now.

Save $300 on the PRS SE Hollowbody II

PRS SE Hollowbody Piezo

We don’t give a lot of perfect scores for guitars here at Guitar.com, but Jason gave the piezo-loaded version of this absolutely monster guitar a straight 10/10, even going so far as to say that this Asian-made guitar, “further blurs the line between the SE and Maryland-made models”. High praise indeed, and now you can snag one for under a grand!

Save $30/£30 on the Positive Grid Spark GO

Look, I’ll level with you – there is absolutely zero reason why every guitar player reading this shouldn’t already own a Spark GO. It is a practice amp that fits in your pocket and sounds better than most amps five times its size, that also unlocks a world of practice, playing and recording possibilities. And it’s under a hundred bucks. I loved it when I reviewed it, I still love it now. Get one!

Save $200 on the Yamaha Pacifica Standard Plus

Heads were suitably turned when Yamaha announced the new Pacifica back at NAMM in January – especially with a new premium price point. But when we finally got our hands on one to review, we were suitably blown away, saying, “this is a quality all-round player – one that could make you rethink what it means to own a Pacifica”

Save $1,000 on this Heritage H-150 Custom Core

We were hugely impressed with this Heritage Custom Core guitar when we reviewed it last year, calling it “a revelation”. Now you can get yourself a revelation of your own with a massive $1,000 off the list price at Sweetwater.

Save 22% on the Fender Tom DeLonge Strat

Fender Tom Delonge Stratocaster

Look, we all went through a pop-punk phase, and believe me when I tell you that this guitar will gloriously transport you back there in the most grin-inducing way imaginable. Yes, I know, it’s about as versatile and direct as one of Tom’s masturbation jokes, but as I wrote in my review that’s part of the charm – unsubtle, unapologetic, and unbelievably good fun.

Save up to 50% on Walrus Audio Mako Series Mk 1

Walrus Mako D1

The good folks at Sweetwater have slashed the price on Walrus’s first gen Mako pedals after the release of Mk 2 recently. But don’t get distracted by the new hotness – these are still great sounding and hugely impressive high-end DSP pedals that sound absolutely fantastic, so much so that we gave the D1 a 9/10 and called the R1 “Wondrous for stereo space exploration”.

Save $500 on Victory VX The Kraken

We gave another vanishingly rare perfect 10 to Victory’s new Mk II version of the Kraken, but if you can live without the new added clean channel, you can save a pretty penny on what is still an absolutely monster amp for rock and metal.

Save 19% on the Harley Benton PowerPlant ISO-12 Pro

Look, I’ll level with you – we’ve not actually reviewed this for Guitar.com because honestly it’s quite hard to review a power supply, but I’ll tell you this. I’ve been running this on my own personal board for a few years now – it’s not trendy, it’s not gonna get you a lot of likes on Instagram. But what it does do is supply quality, clean, consistent power to pedals both thirsty and otherwise – isn’t that the point? It’s a bargain at full-price, and with nearly a fifth off, you’d be mad not to.

There are of course, SO many other great guitar deals in the offing this Black Friday and Cyber Weekend, I could be here all day talking about them all. You can browse them all yourself at the links below though, happy shopping!
